We can’t buy homes, make car payments, build businesses, or plan for a family if we are struggling under the $50,000 in loans to become a public health nurse. This proven legislation encouraged young, hardworking Montanans to stay and invest their talents in our state while easing their unfair debt burden.
Allow for graduates of the Montana University System earning $40,000 or less to claim a tax credit against their income tax to be used for student loan payments.
